I'm planning to play this game at work :eek: and would like to avoid downloading and setting up a Virtual Drive. I've just downloaded the CM 01/02 game, after spending the last 6+ months on CM 97/98, using your AWESOME website and tutorials.

So I don't have an ISO image anymore, I have a CD with that ISO image burned onto it that works up until when I want to start a new game, at which point it seems to be asking for itself. But the game is still asking me to insert the CD. The ISO is already physically mounted on a CD so it can't be 're-mounted'. This is impossible, it's on a different computer. The burned CD (so no ISO image anymore, that's on my Mac which I am not using to play) installed the game fine on the Win7 laptop but when I select leagues I get the 'please insert CD' error.Įveryone keeps saying "just re-mount the ISO".

I want to play that CD on a Windows 7 laptop. Thanks for the answer but I downloaded the ISO on my Mac & burned the ISO onto a CD on my Mac (purely because the download was taking ages on my laptop). If you're using a mac, don't bother with a CD. Is it because I have the iso on usb and is there a way around it? I now try to start game after selecting leagues and it asks for cd and I press ok and nothing happens so all I can do is exit game.

Used a prog to "burn" iso to usb and installed game, patch and database. Laptop running on xp and my cd drive disappeared from my computer maybe the connection came off so tried daemon tools to mount but nothing appears on my computer. Not sure what I'm getting into now :shocked: but I'll give it a try. Played the game to death and then along came cars and girls! Tried played a new version of it a few years after my retirement from the game but was too steep a learning cure and didn't bother.
Best player I ever had Uwe Rosler the amount of goals he scored for me was incredible. Spent hours at the beginning of each season trawling for a gem or a reincarnated player that has just retired. A little background of me, early 40's played championship manager 99/00 when it first came out and was stuck in bedroom for hours on end with my pentium 1 and a radio on inthe background. Decided to give his a go only having just discovered the free download.
